Starting from today i'll starting posting some blackgaze bands. This genre was originated by a fusion of shoegaze and black metal, pioneered by bands like Jesu and Alcest, and popularized in the music community by Deafheaven. It bears some similarities with post metal, but is far more oniric and atmospheric, with heavy usage of distortion, reverb and a lot of other effects.
Please note that the post-metal and post-rock content will continue, i'm just expanding the scope of this site.
